Dreams Du Jour

Made this card with stampin up dream du jour stamp set. Colors used were old olive and ruby red.

I made a set and a purse for them to go in.

I think I will add some pockets on the inside to put like a bookmark and/or notebook.

Poppin Pastels

Supplies:

-cardstock (I used whisper white and chocolate chip)
-pastels
-Whisper white craft stampin up stamp pad (very important)
- Q tips

1. first you stamp on your cardstock with the white craft ink. The reason you have to use the craft ink is it stays moist a long time after you stamp with it so you have plenty of time to color the image with your pastels.

2. You ponce on top of the stamp image with your pastels with a q-tip. Make sure you just ponce on top and not rub the image cause you will smear it. You can continue to layer color on top of where you already have color until you get the desired effect you like. That's it! It's that simple.

Here is the finished card made with Stampin' Up! products.

I love painting with my stampin up pads to make it look like watercolors. I stamped the image with Staz On. The first two cards I used Pun Fun Stamp set. The third I used Fun & Fast Notes Stamp Set.

Open House Project

This is what we did at my Stampin' Up! Open House. I embossed the image with clear embossing powder on chocolate chip cardstock and used Doodle This Stamp set. I then bleached the image and after it completely dried I painted it with pixie pink and tempting turquise stamp pads using my blender pens. I stamped the background of the card with the swirls. Its hard top see in the picture. I also clear embossed the word thanks on the bottom corner. Below is what it looks like when you bleach the cardstock. I also included another example with the same technique.

Rock and Roll

Supplies:
Pixie pink, chocolate chip, Bravo Burgundy Cardstock and stamp pads.

I used a technique called Rock and Roll for the butterfly. It is from the Stampin' Up! set Garden Whimsy. I first stamp in the pink then rolled just the outside of the image around in the burgundy. I stamped the burgundy background with cordinating pad with the swirls from the Doodle This Stamp Set. I also dry embossed the pink with the seeing spots brass template. I used my slot punch to make the scalloped piece in chocolate chip going down the side.

This is a close to show the embossing.

Projects from my first workshop

Here are the projects I did for my first workshop. We did scrapbook pages one for boy or girl. I used "Simply Said" stamp set for the first and "Bugs and Kisses" for the second. What I did for the first layout was I stamped on white paper with the stampin up's whisper white craft ink pad. Then I used stampin up pastels and ponced (do not rub) on the the stamped image with colors to cordinate with the pages. The second layout I did in a similar way but I stamped with colored craft ink and then used a slightly darker color of pastels to accent and give the stamped images more dimension. Its really easy and fun to do. I think it really enhances the images.
